Gynecomastia Surgery (Male Breast Reduction)

Procedure

Gynecomastia surgery is performed under general anesthesia or local anesthesia with sedation, depending on the extent of correction required. The surgeon may use liposuction to remove excess fat and make small incisions to excise glandular tissue. In more severe cases, excess skin may also be removed to achieve a smooth, natural contour. The procedure typically takes 1–2 hours, and most patients return home the same day.

Payment is required at the time of booking the actual consultation, and our standard 48-hour cancellation policy applies. In rare cases of complex or revision surgery, Dr. Abrokwa may request an in-person consultation.

Photo Requirements

• Use proper lighting.
• Stand against a plain, solid-colored background.
• Areas of concern should be visible (use small underwear or bikini).
• Ask someone else to take the photos (selfies often distort angles and lighting).
• Ensure photos are recent.
• Titles under 60 characters, max size 3MB per photo.
